Veterinary diet for cats with struvite urolithiasis

Upon diagnosis, the veterinarian will prescribe a veterinary diet for your cat that will adjust and then maintain the optimal urine pH. Feeding the diet will lower the urine pH within a few days and then dissolve the crystals or stones that have formed.

Administration

As the only feed throughout the day. Optimally, the daily ration should be divided evenly into 2-3 portions throughout the day. Water must always be available. The feeding period is up to 6 months, unless your veterinarian decides otherwise.
